Star Wars Parties

How would you like a fully armored stormtrooper and an Imperial R2 droid to come to your house?
TK830 and R2-Q5 are ready and willing!

This show is pretty much the same as the Magic Show - but it is presented with a Star Wars theme.  Instead of magic,
it is a demonstration of Imperial Techniques and the use of the Force.  But definitely visit that page to read about the show
as that is essentially the show you'll be seeing - and just as in that show, it still ends with the birthday child being levitated!

TK830 and TK1025 at Planet Hollywood

In this show, R2-Q5 will stand on display at your house.  He can't move around, but his head turns and lights up, and he talks.
This is all under remote control.  TK830 will give a recruitment speech for the Empire, and talk about the current war
against the Rebels.  Questions will be taken, and then he will give a demonstration of Imperial techniques
and the use of the Force in a forty-five minute magic show.

It is R2-Q5 instead of R2-D2 for two reasons.
First, an Imperial droid goes with the Imperial costume.
Secondly, R2-D2 won't be ready for a while yet - but he's coming!

Following are pictures from this show, done for private parties.
I've done this show for everything from very small parties like this
to large gatherings of a hundred people.

The following pictures are from a show at a public library.

These are from another library show.

I'm slightly out of armor, but that's me with Don Bies
at a Lucasfilm event.  Don Bies built and operated R2-D2
for Lucasfilm in the prequel trilogy.

R2-Q5 with Kenny Baker, who was inside the droid
for many shots in all six Star Wars movies.
R2-Q5 was also on display for Kenny Baker for a time.

I don't do this any more, but for one special event we pulled R2-Q5's dome off, a volunteer looked in and pulled out SIX rabbits!
(They were borrowed rabbits, that's why I don't do this more often.  But it was a lot of fun to do once!)

This was a party I did a few years ago.  They had Deathstar style walls custom built for the entranceway.
We put in a bit of fog, and the laser-sights on our blasters really looked fantastic.

One last thing ... this link has nothing to do with my show, but if you are looking here you might really like it.

It's a paper R2 that you can cut out and assemble that is really cool.  It just makes a wonderful
project for you and your child to do together.
